第一次嘗試打版 – 給我的廚房小幫手做圍裙

我覺得自己很幸運，
有一個不僅可愛 (跟她媽一樣)而且讓我很省心的女兒。

每天跟她在家裡，一點也不覺得煩。
因為女兒布寶很喜歡幫忙，我們會一起做很多事。
她會幫我洗碗（放洗碗肥皂、開洗碗機、把烘乾的碗盤拿出來）、掃地（還有待加強…）、餵貓咪吃飯、擦窗戶玻璃、把衣服丟進洗衣機、鋪好被子、收拾自己的玩具等等。

只要跟她說一句：

“來幫媽媽(爸爸)好嗎？”

這隻兩歲的小寶貝就會“噔、噔、噔”興奮地跑過來幫忙。
對她來說，做家事比玩玩具更有吸引力！

最近更是愛上幫我一起做飯，尤其是幫我洗菜。

只要需要洗菜，必須叫她來洗。如果我自己偷偷洗、沒讓她洗，她會很傷心…
想想我應該很快就能過上“等女兒煮好飯叫我來吃”的悠閒生活了吧！

因為怕她把衣服弄濕，所以我決定幫女兒做一件小圍裙。

My 2-year-old is such a great helper!

She runs over to me immediately every time I ask her if she would like to help.
She usually helps with doing dishes (loading the dishwasher, turning it on, and unloading it), laundry (putting clothes into the washing machine), making her bed, and putting away her books and toys…

Recently, she loves to help me in the kitchen. She washes the vegetables before I cook them. To prevent getting her cloth wet, I decided to make her an apron. (Haha the true reason is that I think she will look really cute with an apron.)

第一次打版…

之前我改衣服都蠻隨性的，但這次為了圍裙的正反面不料剪下來大小不要差太多，所以決定還是要做一個版型。
拿了一件女兒的洋裝，模仿它的樣子，畫了一個半邊的版型。
只需要半邊，因為我會把布對摺。
（紙是回收再利用，之前教女兒認數字…哈哈哈）

This was my first time trying to make a pattern. I referenced one of my daughter’s dress, and drew the right side of the apron on a piece of paper.
Hahaha, yah… the paper was used for my daughter’s “drawing & math class”. It’s good to reuse, gotta be environmental friendly. 🙂

我胸口1/2的寬度是8.5公分，手臂之下的寬度是19公分。
把選好的布料對摺，把版子貼著連起來的那邊固定住。
上下和布料能打開的那邊，都留一點剪裁的空間。
從版往外延伸1.5公分，沿著板的形狀剪下。

The length of the neck line is 3.3inches and the width of the chest is 7.5inches.
Fold the fabric in half, place the pattern on the connected side of the fabric and pin it down for cutting.
Cut along the pattern with 0.5inch of spacing.

大開來就是圍裙完整的一面了。
重複之前一樣的步驟。如果想要圍裙正反面是不一樣的圖案，可以用另一塊布。
最近新冠肺炎的疫情比較嚴重，沒法出門，所以我只能把家裡堆積很久的布料拿出來用。
這些布都是之前別人不要，給我的。花色我已經盡力挑最好看的了。哈哈～

Unfold the fabric and you get one complete side of the apron.
Repeat the whole thing again on a different piece of fabric, or just use the same one if you don’t care the front and back being different.

做綁帶…

綁帶的部分，我剪了兩條6×45公分。
一般來說應開會對摺，反面朝外，把邊車起來，再把整條帶子裏外翻過來。

但這種細細長長的、布也有點厚，很難翻…
所以我就用一個不用“翻”的方法。

正面朝下，把兩邊往內摺0.5公分，用熨斗燙過去（所以之後會好車一點）。
把兩邊對摺、合起來，用大頭針固定住。把開口的那邊直線車過去。（越靠近邊邊越好，離開口邊不超過0.5公分。）
套脖子的肩帶我是量了6×60公分，作法跟綁帶一樣。

For the straps that go around the waist, I use a measurement of 2″x 18″. And the neck strap is 2″x23″.
I placed the strap on an ironing board with the right side facing down, folded in 0.2″ along both sides, and iron over them.
After creating the crease, folded the two sides together, secured them together with the pins. Sewed down a straight line along the opening side.

最後，對自學者有點傷腦筋的步驟…＾＾lll

所有的部分都完成了，接下來就是要把所有的的部分都接起來。
習慣做衣服、縫紉的朋友應該覺得這個步驟很簡單，
但對我這個初學、自學者，這邊還真的絞了一下腦汁，看要怎麼把外朝裡、車邊、再翻回正面…

幸好我思考過、嘗試過了，所以你就不用煩惱了！

把第一面圍裙，正面朝上擺放、把綁帶肩帶放在你想要的位置。
把第二面圍裙，正面朝下、擺在所有東西上面。
用大頭針固定所有的邊、帶子位置，把所有層次都固定在一起。
（擺放帶子時，記得要從邊上往裡面挪一公分，預留車線空間。）
除了底部（裙尾）先不車，其他都把邊邊車起來。

Place the first piece of apron, right side facing up.
Lay the straps on top of it at where you desire.
(When placing the straps, leave 0.5″ from the edge for sewing.)
Place the second piece of apron, right side facing down, over everything.
Pin everything together. Sew around the edge, except the bottom side.

把圍裙的正面從裡面翻到外面。底部，我把它往內先摺0.5公分、再往內捲一次1公分，車起來。
圍裙的周圍，我沿著邊（大概離0.5公分）又車了一圈，讓整個形狀更固定、邊邊角角更俐落。

Turn the apron inside out. I folded the bottom in and sewed along to close up the bottom.
I sewed along all the edges of the apron again to sharpen the shape of it.

突然覺得少了什麼… 少了多啦A夢的百寶袋呀！

我就拿一塊長方形的布，正面朝內對摺。按照以下圖示劃紅虛線的地方，車了一個半圓。

直線的地方先不車呀！！！！
要留著口，把正面從裡邊翻出來。

翻出來以後，把開口沿著邊車起來。
放在圍裙你想要的位置上，用大頭針固定住。
沿著邊，車一個倒ㄇ自行。（記得上邊的平口不可以車起來呀！！！）
胸前小口袋就完成了～

The apron seemed like it was missing something, so I decided to sew a pocket on it.
I took a piece of rectangular fabric, fold it in half, with the right side facing in.
Like it is shown in the photo below, I first sewed a “U” shape, turn the right side back out, and sewed top side to close it up.
I placed the pocket on the apron where I wanted it to be, pinned it down, sewed along the “U” sides again. (Remember don’t sew the top of the pocket up.)

The pocket is not for functional purpose. Like what is my daughter going to put in it?? But the apron look a lot cuter with a pocket. 😀
