涼拌黃瓜 Best Summer Dish – Marinated Cucumbers

炎炎夏日,最適合做簡單又清爽的菜系。
涼拌黃瓜是我最常製作的其中一道菜。

黃瓜普遍都蠻便宜的,~($ v $)~

做法真的非常非常簡單,又好吃。
我本身就超愛泡菜類的食物。(∩_∩)

跟朋友聚會很適合做這道涼拌黃瓜,
很開胃,不用擔心吃不完還要帶剩菜回家,
因為大家一定會吃光光呀! 哈哈哈~( ̄▽ ̄)

Marinated cucumber is one of my favorite cold dish, which is perfect for summer!
It is refreshing and absolutely delicious. 
Hey, and vegan friendly! 🙂

I love eating vegetables. 
You may not agree, but they are tasty. 
You just have to know how to cook or prepare them. 
And making vegetables taste good doesn’t need to be challenging. 

This Chinese marinated cucumbers dish is definitely of the the easiest recipe EVER!

材料 Ingredients

2條                 小黃瓜 Cucumbers
5-7瓣cloves 大蒜Garlic
2匙tbp          醬油Soy Sauce
2匙tbp          糖Sugar
1茶匙tsp       鹽Salt
1-2茶匙tsp  老乾媽Chili Oil Sauce
1茶匙tsp       香油Sesame Oil
1.5匙tbp       白醋Rice Vinegar(或任何醋)

(可按個人喜好加入蔥花和香菜,風味會更佳。Optional: Green onions and cilantro. They make the flavor even better.)


做法 Instruction

小黃瓜洗乾淨、去皮(美國的小黃瓜表面都是蠟,吃起來很硬,去了皮比較好)。
Wash and peel the cucumbers. 

將小黃瓜切成小條狀。切得越薄,越快入味 ; 但厚一點,比較容易保持脆度。自己拿捏喜歡的口感。
如果小黃瓜的種類是籽比較大的,那就要把中間的籽切掉,不然做出來會太水。
Cut the cucumbers into small linear pieces. Depends on the type of the cucumbers, you might need to cut the seeds off from the center, or the dish might become too watery. 

把大蒜去皮、切碎。
Mince the garlics.

放入2匙糖、1匙鹽和2匙醬油。
Add in the 2 tbp of sugar, 1tsp of salt, and 2 tbp of soy sauce.
(I used brown sugar, but white ones are fine too.)

放入1.5匙白醋和1匙老乾媽。(如果你喜歡辣,就放2匙老乾媽)
Add in 1.5 tbp of rice vinegar and 1 tbp of chili oil sauce. (If you like spicy food, then put 2 tbp instead.)

The brand of the chili oil sauce I use in my cooking is called Lao Gan Ma or Old Godmother. It is the most popular chili sauce produced in China. Kinda similar to how popular Sriracha sauce is around here. You can easily find Lao Gan Ma chili sauce in any Asian or Chinese stores. It is the best chili sauce and very deliciously addictive. 😀

加入大蒜、香油。(和蔥花和香菜,如果你想加的話)
Add in the chopped garlic, sesame oil (and chopped green onions and cilantro if you decided to.)

容器蓋上蓋子,然後搖搖搖搖搖~
或者拿個湯匙或叉子攪一攪。
我是覺得用搖的比較快。
Put the lid on your container, and shake shake shake shake shake~ Shake every thing inside well.
Or, you can just mix everything with a spoon.

我個人是喜歡把它在冰箱放一個晚上或至少冰兩個小時,黃瓜會更入味。
然後你就有消暑又好吃的涼拌黃瓜了~!
Personally, I like to leave it in the fridge overnight or at least 2 hrs. It will allow the cucumbers to be more flavorful.
